We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major highways infrastructure project in Surrey, working with a leading Tier One Main Contractor.
This is a long-term opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a proven track record in highways construction. You'll play a key role in managing high-value packages, subcontractor accounts, and commercial reporting on a complex and fast-paced scheme.
Key Responsibilities:-
Take full commercial responsibility for highways-related work packages

Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and administration

Prepare and issue accurate monthly valuations, cost reports, and forecasts

Monitor project performance against budget and programme targets

Liaise with project managers, site teams, and client representatives

Support junior QS staff and contribute to wider commercial strategy
✅ Highways experience is essential - minimum 3+ years on highways projects
✅ Background with Tier One or major civil engineering contractors
✅ Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
✅ Excellent reporting, negotiation, and commercial management skills
✅ Able to work independently in a hybrid/site-based capacity in Surrey
