Crynodeb
To use excellent communication skills when working with children and young people and their families/carers to ensure their voices are heard and is reflected in goal setting and intervention. To use a range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with children and carers. This will include individuals who may have difficulties in understanding or communication. For children who may be hearing or visually impaired, dysphasic or whose first language may not be English To demonstrate effective communication skills with multi-disciplinants members and partner organisation (e.g. Education and Social services). Contributing to decisions in regard to client care. To deliver training programmes to carers and school staff in line with care pathways.
