Class Based Teaching Assistant (One Year Contract in the first instance)Salary will be paid at either Scale 3/4 or 4/5 depending on qualifications and experience. 3/4 (£13,554 - £14,556) or 4/5 (£13,946 - £15,650) Pay Award PendingStanley Park Junior School is unique for its supportive, nurturing atmosphere where all staff work collaboratively to ensure that our children get the best possible experience whilst at our school. We are a successful, caring, and happy school that prides itself on a strong and stable staff team. We have a temporary vacancy (Initially one year) for a class based Teaching Assistant.
The vacancy is for 20 hours per week, term time only. Exact days and time to be arranged but more than likely will be spread over the full 5 days.The successful applicant will hold at least NVQ2 and will have experience of successfully working with a wide range of teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning. They will have good communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults. They will be flexible, resourceful and able to show initiative. They will need to have a commitment to the happiness, well-being and progress of everyone at the school and a sense of pride in all that they do.
