We are hiring a Customer Partner to join our growing customer service and support team in Cambourne. This hybrid customer-facing role combines call handling, technical support, and service coordination, playing a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer calls, emails, and service requests
  • Schedule field service engineer visits and coordinate appointments
  • Provide internal support to field and office teams
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Use CRM systems to log service cases and capture sales leads
  • Provide technical assistance and triage service issues
  • Check stock availability and pricing for products and consumables
  • Maintain and update accurate customer data records
  • Process orders for spare parts and consumables
  • Make follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction after service visits
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service, customer support, or call centre role
  • Confident with inbound call handling and managing service requests
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP - preferred)
  • Comfortable working to KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proactive and flexible team player willing to support beyond core duties
