Summary

Nursery Room Leader – Toddler Room (Level 3)
Salary: Up to £30,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full-time, 41 hours per week

Our client is looking for a confident and passionate Nursery Room Leader to lead the Toddler Room at their welcoming nursery. This home-from-home setting features bright, age-specific rooms and a spacious garden that encourages active play and learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified practitioner who is ready to take on a leadership role and inspire both children and team members in a warm, supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
  • Experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • A warm, organised, and proactive approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily running of the Toddler Room, ensuring a high standard of care and education
  • Supervise and support a team of practitioners, promoting best practice and teamwork
  • Act as a Key Person, building strong bonds with a group of children and their families
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, stimulating activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitor and record children’s progress through observations and assessments
  • Ensure the room is safe, inclusive, and engaging at all times
  • Support and uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare standards
  • Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and senior leadership
