Please note this is a fixed term position for up to 12 months to cover maternity leaveWorking hours: 25 hours per weekInterview Date: 1 August 2025Job Summary: The role is key to the successful delivery of mission to the local community within a complex setting. The role is responsible for delivering the operational elements of the mission programme, managing the business resources of the corps (finances, people, buildings) and procedural/statutory compliance.Key Responsibilities: Active and visible leader within the church and the wider community establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels including programme participants, within The SA, the local council, other relevant charities and religious groups to better meet the needs of the community.Responsible for ensuring that each individual element of the programme has clearly defined objectives and that regular monitoring and review procedures are implemented to monitor progress.Effective management of the corps finances in line with both The SA and statutory requirements to ensure the careful stewardship of resources.Accountable for all people related activities of your direct reports including recruitment, performance management, and learning and development in line with The SA policies and procedures.The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:Proven strong experience of successfully managing a complex and busy setting serving the needs of the community, showing compassion and understanding to all programme participants.Demonstrable strong experience of successfully integrating and delivering multiple and diverse programmes to meet operational objectives.
