Crynodeb
Responsible for the leadership, management, and delivery of Diagnostic Imaging Services and professional leadership of Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and Radiographer Apprentices. Planning and co-ordinating to ensure cost effective and high-quality health care services are delivered to serve approximately 210,000 procedures per annum. This role has delegated authority for management and delivery of diagnostic waiting times and for provision and evidence of compliance with all regulatory requirements that apply to a Diagnostic Imaging service (e.g. IR(ME)R 2024, IRR 2017, EPA etc). Strategic planning and leadership and creation of business cases for required capital schemes and service changes such as replacement of high-cost imaging equipment across the Diagnostic Imaging Service.
