Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a National Arboricultural Manager to join us at the UKs leading FM company.
Reporting to the Director you will lead the national Aboricultural division, driving operational excellence and contributing to business growth, whilst delivering high quality tree care solutions for customer across the UK.
Agile, flexible working is critical to the continuing success of the Landscapes business, the ability to embed performance excellence through an operating model which supports operational seasonal peaks and out of hours customer support is critical as client demands change throughout the year.
You will be responsible for.
-Leading and develop the national arborist team, ensuring efficient and effective management to promote Arboricultural services to both internal and external customers.
-Supporting Arboricultural staff and the wider network of Contracts Managers and surveyors in arborist activities.
-Overseeing the safe and effective delivery of Arboriculture services by leading the Arboriculture team.
-Driving the growth and development of the Arboricultural Business unit in line with the current business plan.
What we are looking for.
-Minimum of five years Arboricultural management experience.
-Minimum Level 2 in Arboricultural or equivalent.
-All NPTC relevant certificates or equivalent.
-IOSH Managing safely or equivalent.
-Excellent tree identification skills.
-Ability to read landscape drawings.
-Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and the management of safe systems of work associated with the role and working environment.
-Experience in the use of Microsoft 365
-Flexible attitude and approach to work
-Full clean UK driving licence
-Self-motivated able to work without supervision
