Role Overview
Our client in Mirfield is seeking a detail-focused Bonded Wadding Inspector to join their production team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Inspect product quality throughout production.
Cover for the Machine Foreman during breaks.
Ensure products meet customer and quality standards.
Report quality or mechanical issues promptly to supervisors and assist in problem-solving.
Log downtime and stoppages accurately using the SFOL system.
Communicate operational concerns to the Shift Manager and participate in troubleshooting.
Maintain quality check records and product traceability documentation.
Candidate Requirements
Previous production or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential — full training provided.
Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong multitasking and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a busy environment.
Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Basic computer literacy.
