Salary: G SCP 9 -12 – (£27,254 - £28,598)
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with 27 days paid holiday entitlement rising to 31 days paid holiday with 5 years’ service
Contract type: Full Time (permanent)
Reporting to: Head Teacher

Due to the retirement of our much-loved caretaker, Tilery Primary School are looking to appoint a Superhero Site Supervisor for our amazing school. Our pupils deserve their school to look like a palace, so children and staff want to appoint a superhero who can achieve this expectation. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, conscientious and motivated to provide a key role in maintaining our school site; ensuring it is a welcoming and safe environment for our school community.

Duties and Responsibilities
Our site supervisor will take charge of all aspects of site management including:
• Locking and unlocking the school and carrying out security checks on the building
• Carrying out and recording statutory checks and helping maintain Health and Safety records
• Maintaining the property and grounds to a high standard and liaising with contractors
• Monitoring site stock and ordering supplies
• Responsibility for an area of cleaning within school.
• Carrying out DIY above and beyond the scope of a competent DIY person, completing more
specialist work as required
• Attending training courses relating to Health and Safety.

Applications are invited from prospective candidates who can demonstrate that they meet the essential criteria set out in the person specification, however previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.

The hours of working are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The proposed hours of working are Monday to Friday 6.45am – 10:15am and 1.30pm – 5.30 pm. (These may be flexible and can be negotiated with the Headteacher)
