About Us
LionHeart In The Community (LITC) is a vibrant , Brixton-based non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering communities through education, cultural engagement, and environmental awareness. We deliver a wide range of educational and cultural programmes — from local training initiatives to immersive international travel experiences — that promote personal growth, global citizenship, and social impact.
We are now seeking a skilled and proactive Partnership and Outreach Manager to manage key existing organisational relationships,with our suppliers, educational providers, and awarding bodies — including NCFE, ATHE, VTCT, and the Department for Education. The role will also involve strategically developing new relationships in line with the organisations key priorities.
You’ll also drive the development of new commercial partnerships and sponsors, in areas of our work including vocational qualifications and immersive educational and purposeful travel, supported by strategy provided by our directors, whilst collaborating closely with internal teams and marketing agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Stakeholder Management & Engagement
Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy to strengthen relationships and enhance collaboration.


Responsible for maintaining existing relationships while developing new relationships in line with organisational priorities. Act as the main point of contact for key external stakeholders, including awarding bodies (NCFE, ATHE, VTCT), local & national government departments (including Department for Education), community groups and international partners, HE and FE Partners (both in the UK and abroad)

Represent LITC at external meetings, events, and sector forums to advocate for our mission and priorities.

Analyse stakeholder needs and contribute insights to guide organisational strategy.


Partnership Development & Growth
Identify, secure, and nurture partnerships aligned with LITC’s mission — across education, training, and commercial opportunities.

Collaborate with the Directors and Board to evaluate and expand existing relationships while identifying new areas for growth.

Lead negotiations and manage contracts in line with organisational values.

Track partnership performance and impact using measurable outcomes and KPIs.

Fundraising & Revenue Generation
Support the implementation of a long-term fundraising and commercial income strategy.

Engage and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, funders, and grant-making bodies.

Work collaboratively to diversify revenue streams supporting both charitable and commercial projects.

Marketing & Brand Positioning
Contribute to marketing and communications planning for LITC’s commercial initiatives, including cultural and educational travel.

Work with internal teams and/or external agencies to raise visibility and drive interest in LITC’s programmes.

Ensure brand consistency and message alignment across all external-facing communications and partnership materials.

Leadership & Cross-Organisational Collaboration
Provide strategic input on partnerships and stakeholder relationships to senior leadership and the Board.

Liaise across departments to align stakeholder engagement with programme delivery and organisational objectives.

Share best practices and build internal capacity around partnership development and stakeholder management.

Governance, Compliance & Reporting
Develop and maintain a stakeholder engagement framework that prioritises safeguarding, transparency, and ethical standards.

Ensure compliance with all awarding body and government partnership requirements.

Produce regular reports and insights on engagement activities and strategic partnerships.

Who We’re Looking For
You are a relationship-focused professional with the strategic mindset and initiative to grow LITC’s partnerships and profile.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
A degree-level qualification or equivalent work experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Education, Non-Profit Management, Marketing).


At least 3 years’ experience in stakeholder management, partnerships, or business development.


Demonstrated ability to contribute to income generation through partnerships, sponsorship, or service development.


Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in external representation.


Desirable:
Experience supporting or coordinating marketing or outreach campaigns for commercial or educational offers.


Previous work in or alongside non-profit, social enterprise, or education organisations.


Understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and reporting in education or charity settings.

Experience and a good understanding of international markets and Not-For-Profit sector.

Familiarity with the UK education landscape, including experience working with or alongside awarding bodies (NCFE, ATHE, VTCT) and the Department for Education.
