JCC Recruitment is pleased to be supporting this well-established property organisation which is looking to recruit a hungry, balanced and people-focused team leader.
Based onsite at their Hertfordshire HQ, you will form part of a 35-person property management function where you will take responsibility for a team of collections executives. The customer base is relatively diverse, each with the likelihood of presenting different challenges to the last, for you and your team.
You will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and understand the importance of both you and your team adapting their approach, tone, empathy and understanding towards each situation. You will use these skills and flexibility to help you and your team to resolve issues when needed.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring and supporting your team via both collective and 1-2-1 coaching, KPI/performance management and objective setting
Identifying staff training needs and implementing necessary actions to support their development
Taking responsibility for daily workloads including scheduling of staff and project workload management
Implementing process changes where required to ensure the team’s delivery remains efficient, professional and is always developing
Meeting financial collection targets as set out by, and with finance specialists
To be considered for this role, you MUST:
Have previous team leader experience in a commercial, multi-channel environment
Possess excellent people management and leadership skills
Be able to look at problems objectively and resolve them in a professional and timely manner
Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Have the ability to learn fast and ‘think on your feet’
Possess a high level of empathy, understanding, tolerance and resilience in what can be a challenging situation
Previous property management and/or collections experience would be desirable but not essential
