EB Critical are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our team!
This role is well suited for a proactive and knowledgeable candidate, that wants to help EB Critical continue to grow and develop its culture changing business model.
Primary responsibilities:
• Provide on-site engineering, operations and maintenance support throughout the UK.
• Proactively support customer accounts ensuring their assets are compliant and reliable.
• Complete on-site operations and maintenance tasks on critical assets such as Steam and Hot Water systems.
• Provide support for the engineering project delivery team throughout the UK.
• Create strong working relationships with customers by understanding their sites, systems and service requirements.
• Support regular client/contract review meetings and contract audits when required.
• Identify referral, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within the client portfolio.
• Actively promote all product groups and service streams to new and existing customers.
• Support business development and attend networking events on behalf of EB Critical.
Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven Operations and Maintenance experience.
• Relevant qualification in an engineering or maintenance discipline (Level 3 or above), or proof of industrial engineering/ plant maintenance experience.
• Candidates must be able to complete Nights Away to support clients sites throughout the UK and Europe when required.
Desirable attributes:
• Good Technical understanding of Steam and Hot Water Systems, plus associated equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, controls). *further training will be provided.
• Proven ability to complete daily/ weekly checks and maintenance on Steam and Hot Water systems. *further training will be provided.
• Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) qualification. *training to complete this accreditation can be provided for the right candidate.
