The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Producing regular performance reports and dashboards by analysing data to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data stories to share with stakeholders to drive decisions.
Improving data quality within the MDP to ensure the provision of an accurate meaningful suite of data.
Work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring data and analysis is of high quality and accuracy.
Carry out thoughtful, challenging and constructive analysis of performance data, to inform senior MDP management and other stakeholders.
Work with analysts and data experts across Government to identify data analytics and novel visualisation techniques that will enhance the quality of performance reporting and build engagement on performance issues.
Provide analysis and identification of opportunities to improve measurement of success to the head of performance, assurance, and standards (PAS). Supporting them and the team to provide relative and accurate data.
Providing challenge and collaboration with other digital and analytical professions, to provide collective insights
