Crynodeb
The Hatchery Operative will be responsible for the collection and grading of turkey eggs, as well as the maintenance and upkeep of the hatchery. This role involves ensuring the proper bedding of chicks and adhering to health and safety regulations. The Hatchery Operative will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of animal welfare and hygiene within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and grade turkey eggs.
- Maintain and clean hatchery equipment and facilities.
- Ensure proper bedding and care of chicks.
- Monitor the health and development of chicks.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and biosecurity protocols.
- Record and report data accurately.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks within the hatchery.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
No experience required. All training provided.
Must have transport to access remote site location.
Long term ongoing temp - perm role.
0400 - 1230
8.5 hour shift
4 days a week Monday - Thursday with optional Friday shifts
32 hours a week (40 including optional Friday shift)
£13.08 o/h basic.
Overtime paid at time and a third.
