We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced manager to join and lead our team in Wallace of Campsie House Lifehouse comprising of 52 flats, and our team at Huntershill Court comprising of 14 flats. Wallace of Campsie House is situated in the east end of the city and Huntershill Court North of the city centre. Both services are fast paced and require the ability to reassess priorities frequently. Key Responsibilities: As the Service Manager you will lead on developing the team with a focus on continuous improvements and better outcomes for clients.In addition, you will;have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and have strong self-management & people management skills.retain full control over all budget matters.ensure that the service remains contractually compliant and always adheres to best practice which includes supporting the values of The Salvation Army.build and retain positive relationships with key stakeholders.compile and present reports to various bodies.The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: They are a competent communicator: verbally, listening, & using a range of IT packagesCan remain calm and provide leadership in time of crisisHope and compassion for another.When necessary, can facilitate difficult conversations with respect and professionalism. Understand pathways into Homelessness and equally pathways to exiting.Innovative and forward thinking to drive the service on and remain strategically relevant.This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
