The governors of St Bartholomew's C of E Primary School wish to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to work in our school starting 3rd September 2025. Working hours are 12.15pm - 1.15pm Mon to Fri term time only.The role of lunchtime supervisor is an important one and will ensure that children are playing and eating in a safe and friendly environment.
Applications are invited from people who enjoy working with children as part of a team, and who are also patient, calm and kind individuals.
It is the duty of the lunchtime supervisor to watch, help, monitor and supervise the pupils during their lunchtime session in accordance with the aims and values of the school and ensure children have a positive lunchtime. Please refer to the job description attached. We are looking for someone who: • Understands the importance of pupil safety and well-being
• An ability to meet individual children’s needs and spot children who display signs of emotional and/or behavioural issues
• Kindness and sensitivity to all children
• Respect for all members of the school community
• Be hardworking and committed
• Be able to make sound decisions
• Have a good sense of humour and team spirit
• Be supportive of colleagues
• Be flexible and responsive to change
• Be positive
• Maintain confidentiality
Closing date for applications: Friday 18th July 2025 at 2pm.The school reserves the right to close the advert early in the event that sufficient applications are received.
