Are you an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA looking for a new opportunity to make a real impact in a thriving primary school? We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, working across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a varied and rewarding role, perfect for a skilled HLTA with a passion for supporting children’s development and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education.
The successful candidate will: • Have experience of delivering interventions to small groups or individuals, targeting both academic and social-emotional progress. • Be skilled in ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) or nurture-based practice, with a strong understanding of children’s emotional well-being. • Confidently lead whole-class learning in the absence of the teacher, including during PPA time. • Support assessment and pupil data tasks in collaboration with class teachers and SLT. • Supervise pupils during lunchtimes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
