About the Role:

The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Healthcare Assistants, and administrative colleagues. The role will involve delivering a wide range of high-quality nursing services, including chronic disease management, health promotion, treatment room duties, and preventative care initiatives.

The position is available on a part-time basis (3 days per week) or full-time, with flexibility to accommodate the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cervical cytology (smear tests)
• Childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
• Wound care and dressings
• Health promotion and lifestyle advice
• Contraceptive advice and services (desirable but not essential)
• Supporting the practice in meeting QOF and other quality targets
• Participation in clinical meetings and practice development initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care setting (however, training and support can be provided for the right candidate)
• Current NMC registration
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centred approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A flexible, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high standards of care
• Experience in chronic disease management, health promotion, and general treatment room duties (desirable)
• A desire for continuous professional development

What the Practice Offers:

• A supportive, friendly, and innovative team environment
• A modern, well-resourced practice setting
• Flexibility to work 3 days per week or full-time
• Competitive salary dependent on skills and experience
• Ongoing professional development and training opportunities
• Regular clinical meetings and peer support
• A forward-thinking approach to healthcare, including the use of technology to enhance patient services
