Your new job working as a Personal Lines Account Executive will be working for a local Broker based in Buckinghamshire. The team specialises in general commercial, property, construction, manufacturing, and life sciences, alongside bespoke schemes business. Your new Brokers are part of a larger national Brokers with offices based throughout the UK, they are recognised for their awards and success and are an excellent Broker of choice. The Private Client team brings a wealth of expertise and extensive market knowledge and specialised expertise in HNW insurance. The Private Client team is dedicated to delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet these specific needs effectively. Due to growth within their Private Client team, a permanent role for a Personal Lines Account Executive has arisen. This role is based in Buckinghamshire with the opportunity of hybrid working.
Your new role
Your new role as a Personal Lines Account Executive means you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong client relationships helping them with personal insurance needs as well as growing your portfolio of clients. You will assist in providing solutions, managing renewals, and ensuring clients' needs are met. This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a growing understanding of personal lines insurance products. Duties will include building strong relationships with both client and Insurer, acting as the primary contact, ensuring client portfolios remain relevant through regular reviews as well as identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and driving growth by offering tailored commercial insurance solutions. Further duties will also include working closely with senior team members, overseeing renewals, negotiating competitive terms, ensuring policies reflect evolving client needs, working closely with colleagues and contributing to team success, sharing industry insights to enhance service standards and staying updated on market trends.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working within Personal Lines handling Home, Travel or HNW or a customer-facing role with experience in Personal Lines business will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have a basic understanding of Personal Lines products such as home, motor, and travel insurance and experience with insurance platforms such as Acturis. Ideally, you will be Cert CII qualified or willingness to work towards it and have experience in assisting renewals, new business development and managing client queries. This role requires a proactive approach to client retention, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong organisational skills, ability to work in a team and a client-focused mindset.
