Healthcare Assistant (Nights) | £13 per hour | 3 Night Shifts per Week
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Night Healthcare Assistant to join their growing team in a beautifully converted residential care home full of warmth and character.
Providing high-quality care to older adults, including those living with dementia, this service offers a genuinely homely environment.
As a Night Healthcare Assistant, you’ll provide essential support overnight, ensuring residents are comfortable, secure, and cared for with dignity and respect. Working three night shifts per week, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining calm, safety, and continuity of care through the night.
This is a great opportunity for someone who prefers night work and takes pride in offering person-centred care.
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
- Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting
- A gentle, calm approach and the ability to work independently
- A genuine passion for supporting older adults with dignity
- Good communication skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and emotional support to residents overnight
- Respond promptly and kindly to resident needs
- Monitor and record any changes in health or wellbeing
- Carry out nightly checks and support residents who may be unsettled
- Work collaboratively with the night team to maintain a calm, safe environment
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and handover
