We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a newly mobilised contract, covering a significant portion of a site that includes both a distribution centre and modern office facilities.

This role sits within a dedicated team of six engineers - four multi-skilled and two electrical specialists - and plays a vital part in delivering high-quality facilities services from day one.

With an emphasis on reliability, safety, and operational excellence, you’ll help ensure both planned and reactive maintenance is completed to the highest standards.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong all-round facilities management experience and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You’ll work closely with the wider team, including cleaning (managed separately) and contractors, to keep the site running smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be confident in overseeing daily operations, prioritising tasks, and responding quickly to issues as they arise.

The client is particularly keen to attract candidates who are local to the area, as responsive site support is a key priority.

Key Responsibilities



Support ISS’s goal to be the world’s greatest service organisation through people empowerment.
Report to the Facilities Manager and oversee site maintenance activities.
Plan, direct, and complete scheduled engineering tasks following policies and laws.
Address complaints and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Focus on delivering world-class building services maintenance.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

​18th Edition Certification
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
Experience in facilities maintenance
Skilled in planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced site environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
