Crynodeb
To have a highly visible clinical presence, acting as role model & expert practitioner To provide strong visible professional & managerial leadership to nursing teams, working collaboratively with multi disciplinary teams to ensure high quality standards of care, clinical governance & effectiveness To coordinate resources across the Trust e.g. staff, beds & equipment, working closely with Bed Managers, Matrons & other senior nurses To develop ward nursing skills across the Trust e.g. clinical examination & assessment skills To be an innovator & progressive thinker utilising research & evidence in practice To take a lead role during Business Continuity, Critical & Major Incidents To manage the Alder Hey Site, trouble shooting & problem-solving incidents that arise, working with Estates, Security & Clinical Teams as required In conjunction with relevant boards & committees, interpret national agendas/guidance & devise, develop & implement a range of operational policies in line with Trust wide needs To assist the HON with delivery of the strategic direction within the designated clinical areas / departments To demonstrate effective leadership by promoting & modelling leadership behaviours, reflecting the essential tenets of compassionate care as described in the 6Cs To be directly responsible for the line management of, leadership & direction to relevant Clinical Site Practitioners To deputise for the HON when required To be highly visible & accessible for all staff, patients & families to turn to for assistance, expert advice & support
