For Tonbridge and Maidstone areas
Term time only. Morning and Afternoon 7,30am – 9.30am and 2.30pm – 4.30pm as required to cover staff absences.
We are looking for an Ad Hoc Relief Passenger Assistants to cover staff absences on our home to school transport for SEND children in the Tonbridge and Maidstone areas.
Covering staff sick leave and appointments during the hours of 7.30am - 9.30am and 2.30pm - 4.30pm Mon - Fri term time only.
The vehicle picks up the children in the local area and takes them to the designated SEND school so applicants should live locally or be able be able to meet our driver at an agreed pick up point at the beginning of the shift.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with children, be able to remain calm and patient and be able to deal with any difficult situation that may arise.
An enhanced DBS check and attendance of KCC mandatory training course is required, both arranged by Compaid.
Accrued holiday pay for hours worked is paid at the end of the financial year (March).
