The focus of this role is providing day-to-day administrative support for the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
You will be liaising withpatientsand their families, staff and other departments or agencies by telephone, taking messages, answering routine enquiries, and escalating queries asappropriate.Youwill be involved in daily clinical MDT meetings, ensuring patient records are appropriately updated and discharge letters completed.
A key part of the role is leadingon the co-ordination of patient experience outcome measures for the service and providingdailyreportson staffing data for the leadership team.Other duties you will undertake include managingmedical devices used by the teamand supporting themwith any system issuessuch asreporting and dealing with IT problems.You will alsohave the opportunity tocontribute toservice planning and development in relation to administration systems and procedures.
