We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Minute Taker – Grade D. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating effective communication and record-keeping within our organization. The Minute Taker will be primarily responsible for documenting meetings, capturing key discussions, action items, and decisions made throughout various departmental gatherings. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that our records are accurate, clear, and accessible for future reference. This role requires you to engage with various team members, prepare meeting agendas, and maintain comprehensive records. A successful Minute Taker will demonstrate excellent listening skills, the ability to synthesize information quickly, and a commitment to confidentiality. Additionally, you will help support our efforts in achieving effective follow-up on tasks discussed during meetings, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities
Attend meetings and accurately take minutes in a clear and concise manner.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas prior to scheduled meetings.
Document key discussions, decisions, and action items during meetings.
Ensure that all minutes are reviewed for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Distribute finalized minutes to all relevant stakeholders promptly after meetings.
Maintain a comprehensive archive of all minutes and related documents for future reference.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role or experience of minute-taking in a professional setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to capture information accurately.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in meeting environments.
Proficient in using standard office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £13.47
