About the role
We’re seeking a reliable and organised fixed-term (until Sept 2026) Assessment Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day operation of all activities related to assessments, Examination Boards, and formal examinations across the University and its partners.

In this role, you’ll help ensure that key processes run efficiently and accurately, contributing to the timely and effective management of assessment activities. You’ll work closely with colleagues across teams to support the delivery of high-quality services that uphold University standards and enhance the student experience.
If you’re detail-focused, enjoy working as part of a team, and want to contribute to the success of important University processes, this role is for you.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have experience administering complex processes and a strong understanding of the Higher Education sector.
You’ll be confident working within a team, managing multiple priorities, and delivering excellent customer service to diverse stakeholders. A flexible, solution-focused approach and the ability to adapt to change are essential.

Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to enhancing the student experience are key to success in this role. Relevant qualifications or experience with student records systems are desirable.

How will you work

Flexible and connected (Professional Services) Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.

We are committed to supporting flexible working where possible, and we encourage a healthy work-life balance. At the same time, we aim to ensure that business needs and service expectations are met, and that we maintain a strong collaborative culture across the team.

How to apply

Start date for applications: 07/07/2025
Closing date for applications: 23/07/2025
Interviews are to be held: w/c 28th July and w/c 4th August
