Sizewell C. The power of good for Britain.Location: Bristol or London (3 days in the office per week, hybrid working arrangements).Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full-time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.Salary: Circa £65,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.Join Us as a Process Lead – Driving Engineering Excellence in a Digital FutureWe are seeking a highly capable and motivated Process Lead to drive engineering process workstream with a focus on how engineering data is structured, managed, and optimised across the digital thread for Sizewell C.This role is central to our transformation journey, ensuring that our processes evolve in a controlled and effective manner to support the increasing volume and complexity of engineering data—without compromising the performance of an already high-functioning organisation. The RoleAs the Process Lead you will play a key role in shaping and delivering new ways of working that align with our “digital by default” vision. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Technical Directorate (TD) function, Quality, Data & Information Management (D&IM), and IT teams to ensure that process development and refinement are aligned with our business needs and strategic goals for Sizewell C.You’ll be responsible for leading the development of new processes and mitigating risks in existing ones to ensure business continuity throughout this transformation. It requires an understanding of the various workstreams within the Engineering Data & Tools team, as well as a broader appreciation of the engineering function.Integration and collaboration will be essential, as you’ll work closely with other workstreams to support the team’s pragmatic and forward-looking objectives.Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) expertise are essential for this role, as it underpins the continuous improvement mindset and structured problem-solving approach required to succeed.This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of engineering operations in a digitally connected environment. About YouAs our ideal Process Lead candidate, you’ll bring a comprehensive understanding of the complex and varied needs of an engineering organisation, including areas such as 3D model standards, Configuration Management (CM), and Lifetime Quality Record keeping. You have a proven ability to map, model, and integrate complex processes, ideally using model-based approaches within a structured framework.You are confident in suggesting pragmatic, realistic improvements that drive efficiency and clarity. Bring your knowledge of ISO 19650 and other relevant international standards to ensure that your approach to data-driven delivery is both compliant and forward-thinking.You’ll be familiar with the lessons learned from previous capital nuclear projects such as Hinkley Point C, OL3 or FA3, and you use these insights to anticipate challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. Above all, you have the ability to grasp multiple complex concepts and articulate a clear, holistic view—enabling you to support strategic decision-making and foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
