An opportunity has arisen within the Financial Services team; we are looking to recruit to the role of Senior Assistant. The successful candidate will assist the department in fulfilling its key objectives to the Trust, and provide excellent customer service to staff, patients and the Trusts’ customers and suppliers.
Key functions encompass: reconciliation and clearing of control accounts; assisting in the monitoring of the trusts capital programme; monitoring Patient’s monies; charitable funds, lease cars and salary sacrifice schemes; and assisting the debtors, cash, creditor payments and finance systems functions. The role offers post holders the opportunity to develop their skills in a number of key areas of financial control and requires a flexible approach to enable the department to meet the changing demands of the service.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
