TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with an OFSTED “Outstanding” nursery situated in Leeds. This nursery prides itself on it’s bright and welcoming rooms, as well as the endless opportunities for growth and development they provide to the children within their care. The quality of teaching and care is exceptionally high, using the children’s experiences outside on the nursery to plan appropriate activities that both stimulates the children’s interests and enhances their learning.
The nursery is looking to take on an Nursery Assistant on a contractual basis. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working within the Early Years or within Education. The successful Nursery Assistant will be enthusiastic about working with young children aged between 0 – 4 years of age. The role includes caring for the basic needs of the children within the setting, ensuring that children are safe and cared for throughout their time at the nursery and encouraging their learning and development.
The successful Nursery Assistant will:
• Have previous experience working with young children
• Be eager to learn new skills and join a new team
• Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
