Morgan Hunt is working in partnership with a college in the Stamford area to recruit a Lecturer in Creative Media. This is a fantastic opportunity for a media industry professional or experienced educator looking to pass on their knowledge and inspire the next generation of storytellers.
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Creative Media programmes, including journalism, digital production, and related disciplines.
- Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of an engaging and industry-relevant curriculum.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Encourage retention, achievement, and personal development through inspirational teaching and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and curriculum quality.
- Support the wider college through events, marketing activities, and recruitment initiatives.
- Embed safeguarding, digital literacy, and employability throughout all learning activity.
- A degree or HND in Creative Media, Journalism, or a related subject.
- Recent industry experience in the creative media field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to achieve a Level 5 Diploma (College supported).
- Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience designing and delivering effective and engaging media lessons.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and commitment to student wellbeing.
- Confident with technology and use of ILT in teaching.
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet varied learner needs and backgrounds.
