The Sustainability Advisor will play a key role in supporting customers with their sustainability compliance requirements.

Job Description
You will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of sustainability projects.
This is a primarily home-based role with occasional travel, mainly within the UK, from Yeovil to Edinburgh, with Southampton and Yeovil being the main sites. Travel is light, typically once every 4 to 6 weeks, mostly during the initial phase of the role.
You will lead best practice in carbon accounting and sustainability initiatives, enabling a data-driven approach and providing valuable subject matter expertise to support ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead carbon reporting, legal compliance, SSCR, and maintenance of climate change agreements.
Conduct climate change risk assessments aligned with ISO 50001.
Develop templates and processes to support long-term sustainability goals towards 2050.
Manage environmental reporting and drive innovative compliance improvements.
Deliver training on ISO 50001 where needed.
Collaborate with client sustainability teams and site-specific Sustainability Champions.
Support achievement of ambitious 2025 targets in a varied and dynamic client estate.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Some experience and knowledge of climate change agreements and sustainability reporting standards.
Proactive approach with the ability to chase data and drive tasks to completion.
General sustainability experience is required.
Competent in Excel at basic to intermediate level.
A degree in Sustainability or a related field is preferred but not essential.
