Pharmacy Manager / Experienced Dispenser
Part-Time | 2 Days per Week | Across Two Branches (Liverpool & Wirral)
Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 minimum (NVQ 3 or ACT preferred)
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated
Pharmacy Manager or Senior Dispenser to work across two busy community pharmacy branches—one in Liverpool and one on the Wirral—in collaboration with our Area Manager. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is confident working independently, and brings experience in managing daily dispensary operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the day-to-day running of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with SOPs and GPhC standards.
Accurately dispense and label prescriptions, including MDS and complex medication regimens.
Lead and support the dispensary team across both sites
Liaise with the Area Manager on business performance, targets, stock control, and service development.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and endorsement for reimbursement claims
Maintain strong relationships with prescribers and medical practice teams
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff where required
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services (ACT qualification highly desirable)
Minimum three years' experience in a community pharmacy, ideally in a medical centre setting
Confident working across multiple sites and managing teams independently
Organised, efficient, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
Basic IT proficiency and strong communication skills
