This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and innovative engineering solutions provider. With a strong focus on sustainability and technology, the company is expanding its operations and seeking a talented Process Engineer to join its team in Cookstown.
Your new role
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of water and wastewater treatment solutions. Your key responsibilities will include identifying client requirements and selecting appropriate treatment technologies, developing design criteria and process flow diagrams, preparing cost estimates and technical documentation. You will also be supporting project delivery teams from concept through to commissioning and collaborating with sales and proposals teams to develop winning bids. Contributing to R&D and standardisation initiatives and ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should have a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or Chemistry). At least 5 years' experience in water treatment or a related engineering field. Strong understanding of water chemistry and treatment processes and excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A postgraduate qualification in water treatment and experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous.
