Alfa Leisureplex Group has an opportunity for Flexible or Part Time Tour Drivers working out of the Yorkshire region to join the Alfa Coaches team. You will cover driver absence and holidays and will receive a pro rate salary of £32,025 for tour days worked.
Additionally, you may have the opportunity to cover single day duties which could be a feeder service or an excursion. The day rate will provide a minimum guarantee of £94.26 for up to 6 hours worked. Hours worked above 6 hours (less 1 hour lunch) will be paid at the hourly rate of £15.71.
The Flexible Relief Tour Driver Role:
We are looking for drivers who are looking for part time work; this could be planned in advance or short notice as required, to cover feeders, excursions or sometimes taking out full tours for the week. This role would ideally suit professional drivers who are looking for a better work life balance or to earn some extra money in semi-retirement. You will be passionate about providing a great experience for our valued customers who have chosen to holiday with Alfa Travel. This role is not only about safe driving but also providing our customers with a friendly, helpful and fun experience; whether this is spending a week with them whilst out in resort or simply feeding them into one our interchanges, to take them too or from their holiday.
Our ideal Coach Tour Driver:
Previous experience of operating Coach Tours would be an advantage, but if it is something you are interested in, have the correct licence and are keen to learn then please do get in touch.
Customer service comes naturally as you will be representing the Alfa Travel brand throughout the holiday.
You will be a safe and efficient driver, comfortable with the use of technology and a maximum of 3 points on your licence.
Comfortable with spending periods of time away from home; this is very much a lifestyle choice and you will be away on tour with limited time back at home.
