Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our esteemed kitchen team at a prestigious venue in Newbury, Berkshire. Candidates must be dedicated to cooking at a 3 AA Rosette level, showcasing creativity and precision in every dish. Due to the rural location, candidates must have a valid driving license and access to their own vehicle.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards, aiming for 3 AA Rosette quality
-Manage and run a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and excellence
-Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop innovative and seasonal menus
-Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
-Assist in managing stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring efficient use of ingredients
-Mentor and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
-Contribute to maintaining the venue’s reputation for culinary excellence
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a high-quality, fine-dining environment
-Passion for cooking to a 3 AA Rosette standard with a focus on quality and presentation
-Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and modern cooking methods
-Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle due to the rural location
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
-Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
-Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent experience
