About Us:

We are a welcoming 3-star hotel located in the heart of Ullapool, offering a warm and friendly environment for both guests and staff. With a focus on excellent customer service and a relaxed atmosphere, we are looking for a dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve guests in the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
  • Assist with setting up and clearing down for service
  • Handle guest queries and complaints professionally
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
  • Support with stock rotation and replenishment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
