Westfield Infant School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School Catering Manager to lead our fantastic kitchen team. As our Catering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and welcoming dining experience for our children, providing them with delicious, healthy meals.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, producing food from fresh ingredients, delivers excellent customer service and is able motivate and support team members.
As a Catering Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the smooth running of the catering operation
• Preparing and cooking meals for students and staff, including serving
• Planning and controlling all aspects of the service
• Ensuring all compliance and Health & Safety Statutory requirements are met
• keeping the kitchen clean & tidy
• Ordering, costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records using IT skills
• Developing and maintaining a menu in line with School Food Standards
• To be aware of the children’s dietary preferences, including allergies.
• Line Manager to the kitchen staff
• Keeping up to date with relevant training
