Paralegal needed in Atherstone, £15.58ph PAYE - Reference: 5271944

1. Supporting the preparation of routine court applications, legal notices, pleadings, defences, witness statements and correspondence, under the supervision of the Head of Legal.

2. Organise and update legal files and databases in accordance with compliance regulations.

3. Produce and dispatch invoices and legal documents to a high standard within strict timescales.

4. Extract and collate data to enable performance reporting and case analysis.

5. Undertake research on points of Law or practice when required in order to support the Team.

6. Support the Head of Legal Services to implement and oversee arrangements to ensure compliance with the data protection legislation and best practice, including managing internal data protection activities, assisting in training colleagues and conducting internal information governance checks.

7. Support the Head of Legal on Governance related matters including assisting with complaints and Freedom of Information requests.

8. Ensure all work contributes to safeguarding the organisation against risk, including reputational and financial risk.

9. Provide ad-hoc legal and administrative assistance to the Team where required on any other litigation and tenancy issues.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
