Crynodeb
A brand-new Pharmacist opportunity has just arisen within a specialist pharmacy team in Chester.
The team works closely with healthcare providers across the area to optimise clinical pharmacy care for their patients, with a particular focus on mental health.
As a Pharmacist, your role will involve resolving clinical enquiries from healthcare professionals in the field – providing expert information and guidance regarding specialist mental health medications and ensuring medication safety management processes are followed concerning related prescriptions.
The service uses an EPMA system and is non-patient-facing.
Full training and development will be provided – previous clinical / mental health pharmacy experience would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
This would be ideal for a Pharmacist who is looking to develop within clinical pharmacy, in a specialist area, outside of a traditional hospital or primary care setting.
This is a permanent, full-time position, Mon-Fri.
Person specification:
• (Essential) MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
• (Essential) Registration with the GPhC
• (Essential) Comfortable working within a high-volume pharmacy
• (Desirable) Previous experience within a clinical pharmacy / mental health pharmacy service
Benefits and enhancements include:
• Free on-site parking
• No weekends
• Full training provided
• Supportive staff and management
• Further opportunities for professional development
• Public transport links
• Pension scheme
