Crynodeb
The Triage Nurse will play a key role in managing colorectal referrals within secondary care, supporting the delivery of the Straight to Test (STT) pathway. The post holder will be responsible for assessing and triaging referrals, ensuring patients are appropriately managed and directed to the most suitable pathway. The role will focus on optimizing patient flow, reducing unnecessary delays, and enhancing the quality of care. The post holder will work within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support the timely assessment and management of patients referred with suspected colorectal conditions, ensuring that national and local pathway targets are met.
