As a Catering Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

The Role

To assist as directed with all aspects of food service preparation and presentation

To serve customers in the appropriate manner

To lead and provide food and beverages at service counters and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service periods

To take money at cash desks, ensure current prices are charged and reconcile cash takings where appropriate

To ensure that the meals and services comply with the agreed budgetary standard and cost

To ensure restaurant tables and service areas are left clean and adequately stocked during service times and replenished as required

To ensure your immediate working area is clean and tidy at all times

About You

Enthusiastic approach to work

Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential

Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene

You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer

Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one

A determined team player who works well with others
