SEN Teaching Assistants - Full Time, PermanentAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? About the RoleWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and inclusive team from September 2025. This is a full time, permanent opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support to thrive in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to children and young adults with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social or emotional needs
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Support students both in the classroom and during small group or one to one interventions
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children or young adults with SEN (essential)
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting learners with additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
- Relevant qualifications (such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
