Support Worker – Brand New Care Home

£12.50 per hour

Shifts: Mixed Shifts (Rotation of day and night shifts)

Our client is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join their team at a small, friendly residential home for adults with learning disabilities. You’ll support residents with their daily routines, encourage independence, and help create a safe, engaging and caring environment.

Whether you're helping someone cook a meal, attend a community activity, or simply enjoy their day with dignity and respect, no two days are the same — and every interaction matters.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a care or support role (essential)
  • A kind, empathetic, and respectful approach
  • Confidence supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK (this employer does not offer sponsorship)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support with daily routines, including personal care, meals, and activities
  • Help residents develop life skills and promote independence
  • Support individuals with communication, emotional needs, and community inclusion
  • Record accurate care notes and report concerns promptly
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive home environment
  • Work collaboratively with a small, supportive team
