Summary

Are you an experienced Groundworker with kerb laying expertise and a valid Blue CSCS card? We're looking for professionals who take pride in their craft and can deliver high standards on-site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team on a long-term project.

Role Overview:

You'll be working on a large civil engineering project where precision and efficiency are key. Your primary duties will involve:

  • Laying kerbs to tight tolerances and line/level specifications
  • Excavation and preparation of footways and roadways
  • Working alongside machine operators, engineers, and other groundworkers
  • Following health and safety protocols at all times

Essential Requirements:

  • Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card - must be valid and verifiable
  • Proven experience in kerb laying - at least 2+ years working on construction or highways projects
  • Ability to interpret site drawings and levels
  • Strong knowledge of groundwork operations including:
  • Digging and trenching
  • Concrete laying and preparation
  • Edging and drainage
  • Reinstatement work
Full PPE (hard hat, high-vis, boots, gloves) - own tools an advantage Good physical fitness and stamina Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Right to work in the UK

Pay & Benefits:
