Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at the University of Lincoln Minster House, Monday to Friday - 0600-0830.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and safe for all occupants.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas.
Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Requirements
Previous experience in cleaning is preferred; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new techniques or methods related to cleaning practices.
A DBS is essential for this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 12.5hrs per week
