Sales Administrator
Are you an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and an interest in global logistics? If so, this Sales Administrator position could be the ideal opportunity for you!
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You’ll be working within a friendly and collaborative team where your contribution will directly support international business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer enquiries and send relevant documents such as order confirmations and certificates of analysis
Support the sales team with administrative tasks and coordination
Track sales leads and website-generated enquiries
Build customer relationships and monitor buying patterns for potential new requirements
Prepare all relevant export documentation including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
Liaise with hauliers and freight forwarders, including requesting pricing and booking transportation
Coordinate collection schedules with warehouse teams and ensure correct paperwork accompanies goods
Input and process customer orders accurately within internal systems
Provide cover for colleagues during absence or holiday periods
Approve or query freight invoices
Maintain filing for customer communication such as visit reports and agreements
Organise and schedule the dispatch of international customer orders
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Previous administrative experience in an office environment
Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A flexible and team-focused attitude
Willingness to undertake Dangerous Goods Awareness (DGA) training if not already certified
