Crynodeb
You’ll help maintain and improve outdoor areas around buildings such as schools, offices, or community centres. Your work ensures outdoor spaces are safe, neat, and welcoming for everyone who uses them.
Key Responsibilities:
Mow lawns, trim hedges, rake leaves, and keep gardens tidy
Maintain flower beds, plant greenery, and remove weeds
Sweep pathways, clear debris, and pick up litter
Clear snow/ice and grit walkways in colder months
Perform basic gardening tasks: planting, watering, mulching
Carry out small repairs or cleanings, such as clearing drains and repairing fences
Use hand tools and light machinery safely (e.g., strimmers, lawnmowers)
Report major maintenance needs or hazards to supervisors
Follow health & safety guidelines and keep equipment in good condition
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in gardening, groundskeeping, or landscaping
Comfortable using tools and gardening machinery safely
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work outdoors in various weather
Good teamwork and communication skills
Basic knowledge of ground maintenance best practices
Willing to undergo training in health & safety or equipment use
A UK driving licence is an advantage (for using vehicles or transporting equipment)
