To read more information about this varied and rewarding role and a comprehensive breakdown of the duties of the including: To provide a professional lead to the portering team, monitoring high standards of service, discipline, customer care and dignity & respect. To ensure all tasks and duties are completed correctly by the portering team using appropriate equipment, methods and procedures and in accordance with the specification and all Trust Departmental policies and procedures. To monitor the performance of the portering team, and report any concerns or persistent non compliances to the Portering Operational Manager. To support the Portering Operational Manager, including the rostering of staff, booking and covering annual leave, arranging sickness cover, receipt of timesheets for submission. To participate in reviews of portering schedules, and assist with customer audits as and when required.
