We are hiring Home Care Assistants / Carers / Care Workers in Woodbridge to join our Reablement Team. This role involves providing person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping regain their health, well-being, and independence.

Areas covered include: Ipswich, Stowmarket, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Hadleigh, and the surrounding areas.

Block shifts: 0700-1400 or 1500-2300 or long days

*Drivers required due to rural locations in the community.*

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept applications from individuals requiring Out of Country sponsorship however we welcome applicants in the UK requiring a new home care sponsor.

THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

As a Hales Care Worker in Woodbridge, you'll play a vital role in supporting the health, well-being, and independence of vulnerable individuals within the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities include:

Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs
Ensuring service users have adequate grocery supplies
Assisting individuals in taking their medication
Preparing warm and nourishing meals
Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs
Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals

The Ideal Hales Care Assistant

Passionate about helping others.
A team player with good communication skills.
Honest and committed to delivery high quality care and support
Good communication skills – verbal and written to complete accurate records
Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
